Direct & Indirect support of GSC members includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- The GSC Forum (No cost): A safe, inclusive, and accessible virtual space for all GSC members to ask questions, receive feedback, and share resources.
- Monthly Zoom Collaborations (No cost): Regularly occurring facilitated zoom meetings that are intended to be welcoming, trusting, and vulnerable spaces for GSC members to learn, grow, and connect. Zoom Collaboratives generally start with a focused discussion topic before opening up for general conversation between members.
- Safeguarding Resources (No cost): Member-donated and GSC-generated resources accessible via our website.
- Peer Collaborators (No cost): GSC members who volunteer their time to assist other members with safeguarding questions, issues, or concerns.
- Training Courses & Workshops (Fee-based, scholarships available): GSC-hosted learning opportunities for members to explore topics and develop practical skills to strengthen their school-based safeguarding programs.
- School Safeguarding Program Audits (Fee-based, scholarships available): Using the GSC School Safeguarding Framework as a guide, the GSC works collaboratively with schools to identify strengths, opportunities for growth, and future priorities.
- School Safeguarding Coaching (Fee-based, scholarships available): The GSC is available to support schools in successfully navigating safeguarding issues or concerns.New Paragraph
