The Global Safeguarding Collaborative (GSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to the belief that a school’s most important responsibility is the safety and well-being of its students. We believe no school should be limited in its ability to safeguard the children in its care due to a lack of resources, training, or support.

About the GSC:

• Founded in December 2019
• Governed by a 10-member Board of Directors
• Officially incorporated as a U.S.-based nonprofit in September 2023
• Serves more than 700 members across approximately 530 international schools in 92 countries

As a global network, the GSC fosters collaboration among safeguarding leads, school counselors, and other professionals dedicated to child protection in international schools. Our mission is to share knowledge, build capacity, and strengthen safeguarding practices around the world.

All of our resources are freely and easily accessible through our website and Mighty Network Community Platform.

Our Funding Supports:

• Scholarships for members needing financial assistance to access our programs
• Modest compensation for facilitators and content creators
• Operational expenses essential to keeping our programs running

We actively seek partnerships with like-minded organizations to extend our reach and impact.
